The twenty-two Major Arcana cards in the Tarot system are powerful and potent symbols and archetypes that reflect vital stages of evolutionary consciousness within an individual. This ancient work has been with us for centuries and is thought to be a divine mirror to the soul holding diverse images and myths for personal reflection. Combining this wisdom with healing, body work, and flower essences one is able to weave together a strong network of wellness that enables one to work between the inner realm of unconscious forces and the outer world of the conscious body form.

Using a deck of cards that you enjoy the pictures of, (the images are very important), sort out the twenty-two major arcana cards and use them separately as a unique deck for this exercise.

After attuning to the Tarot and the spirit helpers who protect and overlight it's divine guidance, fan the cards into an arch, face down and choose a card. This card is a mirror of your unconscious. Then pick up the cards, shuffle them with love, and fan them again, this time face up. As you peer down at the various images, choose one image that appeals to you the most. This card represents your conscious life.

Use these two images as teachers. They serve as a bridge between your inner and outer self. Check the list below and see if there are one or two flower essences associated with your card that resonate with you. You might like to take the flower essences associated with the unconscious card at night to aid dreaming and journeying and the essences associated with the conscious card during waking hours. It can be very nice to place this images up on your alter or in a sacred space for a time in order that their message and healing can protect you.

I have worked with this system for some time and find it very effective in tracing the archetypal patterns that we play out in body, mind, and soul. This exercise helps us to identify core issues, and by doing so, allows us to lovingly release them. What follows is a brief description of the cards and the flowers which correlate with each image. Have fun.
